BLUEBRAIN – Documentary Preview

We are very proud to present the world premiere of BLUEBRAIN – Year One, a documentary short which previews director Noah Hutton’s 10-year film-in-the-making that will chronicle the progress of The Blue Brain Project, Henry Markram’s attempt to reverse-engineer a human brain.     Interesting. However, speaking of interactions, I doubt that this somehow “limited” approach to reverse-engineer a human brain will be able to incorporate what ultimately makes us human: emotional intelligence

    I have been looking for more information on the Blue Gene Project for quite a while, but it seems to be rare and valuable.
    Is there some sort of weekly/monthly blog or update on the project? As the commentator above me, I would also much appreciate an e-Mail with news on the subject. Kind regards, Cosmin.

    Neuroscience will be THE area of science in the 21st century. Figuring out how the brain works at the lowest level is something that will have to be done sooner or later and I hope there will be continued funding no matter how difficult the task and whatever the results of this and other projects that will follow. Eventually it will be done.
